What is Recruitment?

Recruitment is the process of finding and recruiting the most qualified candidate for an existing vacancy for an organization. It can also be defined as the process of finding employees for the future growth of an organization and the process of encouraging and motivating them to apply for jobs in an organization. Further it starts with the needs of the company and ends with the introduction of the employee to the organization as well (Luenendonk, 2019)

 

Effective and Efficient Recruitment

Effective recruitment means finding the best employee who has the skills and qualifications required for a job vacancy. Efficient recruitment means the process of recruiting an employee without incurring large costs on the part of the organization. By implementing these two actions in the right way, the HR department will be able to get the best person for the job (Luenendonk, 2019).

 


The Factors Affecting Recruitment (El-hadidi, 2015).

  • Need of the organization.
  • Organizational objectives
  • Preferred sources of recruitment.
  • Government policies on reservations.
  • Personnel policies of the organization and its competitors.
  • Recruitment costs and financial implications.

 

The Global Practice of the Recruitment

South Korean multinationals are growing rapidly. Entrepreneurs in South Korea tend to adopt a multi-centrist approach to the international staff or a mixed approach of being multi-centric and ethnic-centrist. It can lead to a productive service by diversifying the workforce. However, South Korean entrepreneurs follow the same selection process when recruiting and selecting foreigners, giving priority to host citizens (Kang & Shen, 2013).

The company I work for uses a variety of methods in the recruitment process. Some of these methods are promotion transfers, internal advertisements, previous candidates, job advertisements. The use of the above methods will facilitate the recruitment of the right employee for the organization.




Conclusion

Today organizations pay special attention to the recruitment process and use various methods to make it effective. By following these methods, the organization can recruit the required and qualified employees, thereby improving the organization, and the key factor in any organization is the employee and hiring the right employee is a very important factor in the present.
