Why We Need to Consider Human Resource as an Asset.

Human resources are the most important factor in achieving the goals and activities of an organization and the success or failure of an organization largely depends on the skills of the people who work in it. Organizations cannot prosper without the positive and creative contribution of people, so human resource is the most important factor in an organization (UKEssays, 2018).


The Global Context of Human Resource.

01. Unilever is a multinational company, is considered a human resource asset. The company has invested heavily in improving human resources, and last year Unilever launched the Social Impact center to help employees connect and discover new social activities (HR one, 2014).

02. Organizations like Google and Apple have come to market success through good personal management. These institutions never consider human resources as liability and are considered as human resource assets and make large investments in training employees to improve those organizations (sullivan, 2013).

03. Virgin is an employee-based company and the culture of the Virgin communicates that all employees are part of a family. Employees have the power to manage their own affairs, but companies help each other and solutions to problems often come from employees. In Virgin's Nut Shell culture, partners, interests and goals are all equally responsible for building brands such as partners (UKEssays, 2018).



 

The company I work for considers the employees to be an important asset and has worked tirelessly to motivate the employees. They offer incentives, overseas tours, bonuses and salary increments and more for the employees and provide better training to increase the productivity of the company's services and products. Co-ops consult with the employees when making decisions and allow the employees to make decisions on their own. A good environment is created for the employee to perform his duties without any issues.

 


Conclusion

As we have pointed out in the above statement, the employees is one of the principal assets of the company because the future of the company depends on the service of the employees. Employees attitudes, inventiveness, creativity, honesty, and loyalty are very important to an organization and investing money or time in employee training is very important and that investment is by no means wasted. As we can see, the most important resource an organization has is human resources. Employees are no longer considered as a liability.

And hence employers are now a days paying more attention on providing more benifits and develop them to become better. Most of the Apparel companies are following these practices as majority of their processes are human centralized and concider the human resource as a strategic arm.

  3. Though salaries, allowances, trainings counts as a liability to the company, the company's assets and profits growth based on its employees. Nowadays companies consider their employees as an 'asset' or a 'capital' rather than catagorizing them under liabilities because they understand the importance of employees. Lot of investments are done to improve their 'human capital'. Some companies give overseas trainings to improve the employee quality and standards.

  5. Just like Robert Bosch the inventor of Bosch Company said "I did not pay good salaries because I have lot of money, I paid good salaries and I got rich, the employee needs to be looked after. The employer should make sure that the employee does not feel as if he is a paid slave (unfortunately, that is the case in most places).

    Just as much as importance is given to make the workplace a happy one, the employers also should make serious consideration of work life balance of their employees which is a vital part of considering employee an asset

  7. The employer should understand that the relationship between the external customers and internal customers is symbiotic.
    Without one, they wouldn't have the other. henceforth the mantra for success for the employer is to

    "Take care of your employees who will in turn take care of your business” (Gupta, 2013).

I agree with your statement and same time when you look in this employee eccentric organisation in marketing point of view .i fell that they building there brand as a organization among the society or target marker using the employee ,the people how work fro the company are the best communicators for organization ,they try to build that ,we are more employee eccentric organizations and build the emotional bond with target group. you can see above 03 company you mention those 03 company's are doing business in all around world with different ethnic group .when that kind of business models run this kind of a good will more help them to run there business well in the world.
